★ distribute

v.分发，分配；分布，(over)散布

【例1】The demonstrators distributed leaflets to the passers-by.示威者向行人分发传单。

【例2】The farmers were distributing seeds over the field.农民们正在田间播种。

【构词】dis-（分开）+tribute（赠予）→分开赠予→分配
