首先，各位考生要根据之前讲过的方法，审出四点关键信息。①应用文的类型(题干中的关键词“email”就告诉了各位考生应用文的类型是书信);②书信的类型(大纲中规定的书信类型总共12种，但是根据关键词“inviting”就可以判断此篇为邀请信); ③称呼语(这封信是写给“a foreign teacher”，“teacher”是对方的一种职位，所以称呼语为“Dear Teacher”;④写作背景(……inviting him / her to be a judge for the upcoming English speech contest，邀请他/她担当即将到来的英语演讲的裁判员)。除此之外，还要注意署名为“Li Ming”。各位同学可以根据上述的信息来构思我们的文章：

Dear Teacher,

It is my great honor to invite you to be a judge for the forthcoming English speech contest that will be held in our college. And the contest will be held on May 6th at Tsinghua Hall.

It is known that you have acted as the judge for English speech contest for many times and it is believed that you have much experience for the job. So we would like to invite you to be the judge for the contest. It is sure that your coming will improve the standard of the contest and you will give our students a fair score.

面对范文，各位考生要总结思路：第一段，表明目的，活动简介(时间地点);第二段，邀请原因，活动安排，邀请目的;第三段，询问意见，表示期待。

在语言上，各位考生可以借鉴的句型如下：表明目的的句型“It is my great honor to invite you to……”，之前的文章中，各位考生应该见过另一种表明目的的句型：“I am writing this letter to ……”但是，邀请信要表达出自己强烈的诚意，所以只能用“It is my great honor to invite you to……”。活动简介的句型：“And 某活动 will be held on 日期 at 地点.”。询问意见的句型：“It would be greatly appreciated if you could inform us before +日期.”。表示期待的句型：“We sincerely hope that you will accept my invitation.”。

这篇文章的第一段和第三段都涉及到了日期，各位考生在组织文章时，要注意这两个日期之间的逻辑性。
