五邑大学

从五邑大学研究生处获悉，2024年五邑大学硕士研究生招生904综合英语考试大纲及参考书目已发布，内容如下：

一、基本要求

综合英语是五邑大学外国语学院招收教育专业类别学科教学（英语）（045108） 领域硕士学位研究生自命题考试科目。

本科目主要考查考生是否系统掌握英语基本知识、基础理论和基本技能, 并 能运用相关知识、理论和技能分析、解决英语运用过程中的实际问题。

二、内容范围

1.写作材料。涉及体裁涵盖便条、信函、通用公文、材料作文和议论文、记 述文、说明文等常用文体写作，内容切题,概括全面,结构严谨,理据充分,条理清 楚,语言通顺,表达得体。

2.阅读材料。涉及一般英美报刊杂志上的社论和书评以及一般历史传记及文 学作品，理解阅读材料的主旨大意并能够进行分析、判断和推理，能够分辨细节、 把握思想观点、语篇结构、语言特点、修辞手法、隐含意义等方面。在阅读中根 据需要自觉调整阅读速度和阅读技巧。

3.语言知识。涉及系统的英语语法以及在基本的社交和学术情境中常用英语 词汇和短语搭配。

4.翻译材料。涉及要求运用汉译英及英译汉理论与技巧，对从报刊杂志或文 学作品上抽取的汉语或英语材料进行翻译。文本涵盖政治、经济、文化、社会、 文学、历史、语言、新闻等内容。译文要求忠实原意、语句通顺。

三、题型结构

试卷满分共 150 分，主要题型结构如下：

1.英语写作（约占 33%）大、小作文各 1 题；大作文涵盖材料作文和议论文、 记述文、说明文等常用文体写作，字数 400-600 词，共 35 分；小作文涵盖 便条、信函、通用公文等写作，字数 150-200 词，共 15 分。

题目样例：（1）The number of British universities offering specialist modern-language courses is in sharp decline. This collapse might be partly down to the rise of free translation software such as Google

Translate. Is it possible that automatic translation technology will eliminate foreign language learning? Write an essay of about 400 words to state your view.
（2）For this part, you are allowed 15 minutes to write an email  (at least 150 words) to an American friend of yours, who is considering  joining a cultural exchange program in China. He is worrying about  his Chinese proficiency level and limited knowledge of Chinese culture. Please give him  some advice on the following aspects: 1. how to boost  his confidence; 2. how to get culturally prepared for the program.

2. 英语阅读（约占 20%）4-7 篇文章，每篇文章设 2-5 个问题，根据文章内 容对所给出的问题从备选的 A、B、C、D 四个答案中选择一个正确答案，共 30 小题，每小题 1 分，共 30 分。

由小学到中学，所修习的无非是一些普通的基本知识。就是大学四年， 所授课业也还是相当粗浅的学识。世人常称大学为“最高学府 ”，这名称易 滋误解，好像过此以上即无学问可言。大学的研究所才是初步研究学问的所 在，在这里做学问也只能算是初涉藩篱，注重的是研究学问的方法与实习。 学无止境，一生的时间都嫌太短，所以古人皓首穷经，头发白了还是在继续 研究，不过在这样的研究中确是有浓厚的趣味。

If you look around at the men and women whom you can call happy, you will see that they all have certain things in common. The most important of these things is an activity which at most gradually builds up something that you are glad to see coming into existence. Women who take an instinctive pleasure in their children can get this kind of satisfaction out of bringing up a family. Artists and authors and men of science get happiness in this way if their own work seems good to them. But there are many humbler forms of the same kind of pleasure. Many men who spend their working life in the city devote their weekends to voluntary and unremunerated toil in their gardens, and when the spring comes, they experience all the joys of having created beauty.

本科目考试形式为闭卷，考试时间为 180 分钟，不需要计算器及作图用具， 不使用词典。
