研究领域博士/博士后期间的研究方向为光子晶体无源、有源器件及其在集成芯片上的应用。实现了尺寸最小的宽带光开关,同时是InP基有源光子晶体刻蚀深宽比记录保持者;留校工作后,在国内率先开展光声晶体前沿研究,在国内首次研制出大于5GHz声子频率的纳米臂微腔。作为项目负责人和项目骨干承担多项国家和国际合作项目。
